Ariel represents some old lines that we just love!
Her sire is MCH Fairlea Gabriel Oak E who is a son of ARMCH Goodwood Tom Thumb who is notably one of the most influential bucks in the Nigerian Dwarf breed! Her dam's sire is Rosasharn Tom's Water Tabby who was one of the last buck kids born to AGS National Champions Tom Thumb and Water Lilly. He stands at Dawnland farm and his owner, Laura Whitlock, says this about his progeny, "Tabby has been consistent in passing on capacious, widely-attached udders to his daughters. We are also seeing excellent milk production in these girls, most of whom have started their lactations at three+ pounds per day. Two of Tabby's 2003 daughters are on 305 Day Testing and qualified for their AR awards in 2005. Additionally, one of them earned an "E" scoring of her first freshening mammary system through ADGA linear appraisal. 2006--Another Tabby daughter on DHIR, a second freshening two year old, milked 4.1 pounds (5.6% butterfat) at 28 days fresh. Her second month's sampling weighed in at 4.8 pounds! AND, SHE COMPLETED HER 2006 LACTATION WITH 905 POUNDS OF MILK, AVERAGING 6.4% BUTTERFAT!"
