Fairlea Morelle

We had our eye on this girl since she was born, and we finally got the chance to bring her home!

We are very excited to add her to the herd, thanks Bonnie!

Morelle is French for "Nightshade" which we found fitting for her solid black coloring.

She is a very friendly elegant doeling that we have very high hopes for! She boasts great general appearance and she also has excellent dairy skin and is so smoothly blended!

Her dam ARMCH Fairlea Fleur (pictured below), who descends from very strong dam-line genetics. She completes the third generation of Mother, daughter, and granddaughter Advanced Registry Master Champions! All appraising over 90.0, with Fleur herself appraising at 92.2!

Fleur also received Best Udder at the National Show in Springfield in 2005!

In addition to her mothers strong genetics, she is sired by Caesar's Villa BB Rebel Yell *S who also comes from some equally strong genetics!

He is linebred on Stetson who is a legend in his own right for the Nigerian Breed, and Joanne Karohl who has the pleasure of owning this great buck says this, " Rebel can trace his descent from royal dam lines, being the son of a Reserve AGS National Champion Stetson daughter (Suthrn, 2003; she was also 8 x BU and 8 x BOB) and the grandson of a National Champion Stetson daughter(Bridget, 2004) Both Suthrn and Bridget have prodigious milk records as well: in 2004 Suthrn milked 2.11 21 1/8 305 1057 67 6.3 45 4.3, and Bridget milked 5.0 21 1/8  302 1049 73 7.0 43 4.6, for an average of 3.5 lbs of milk per day over a 305 day lactation for each. Those records earned them both spots on the AGS Top Ten list for 305 day test that year--Suthrn in 5th place for milk, 6th for protein and 7th for butterfat, and Bridget in 6th place for milk, and 4th for both protein and butterfat. "
